Pittsburgh is a great city with a small town feel on the upswing. A great part of that resurgence is due to the local artisans and craftspeople coming back or moving to Pittsburgh to start new businesses and thanks to many non-profit and conservation organizations that have helped clean up our rivers and preserve our beautiful outdoor spaces. Gear Fest wouldn't be an outdoor festival if we didn't have these organizations that service, protect, and promote our outdoor community here too.
We have invited a number of local artisans and craftspeople, and companies that either make products from local natural elements or products and services that help get us outside and find new adventures.
Our outdoor community in Pittsburgh is stronger than ever and is growing thanks to an abundance of non-profits that either are working hard to increase access to outdoors like BikePGH who has been advocating for safer more bike friendly streets or Venture Outdoors who has helped increase participation in outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking.
Please come check out these organizations, learn more about what they are doing for you and about the places you can get out an adventure this summer. There will be information about our local parks, trails, and waterways and outfitters on hand like Wilderness Voyageurs or SurfSup Adventures that can help you get outside exploring and adventuring in 2017.
Below is a list of vendors you can find at Gear Fest, come support your local outdoor community! Keep checking back as more are being added daily.
If you are interested in being a vendor please send us a message at email@example.com
